考研英语口语复试快速提升技巧

　　大部分同学的英语口语都不太好，这是因为我们的英语学习是以应试为目的的，缺乏口语实践。但考研英语口语复试要求我们在短期内迅速提升，就必须掌握一些技巧和方法，接下来给同学们介绍一些口语复试快速提升的技巧。

　　一、学会使用高频高级词和短语

　　有些高级高频词适用性非常广泛，我们要学会储备和应用。比如play an important role in sth, be relevant to, motivate sb to do, make the best of , make the full use of, contribute to, do one’s utmost to, involve, enable sth/sb to do,precious treasure,unforgettable experience,seek further study,explore,enrich,ensure,it goes a long way,be beneficial for,do harm to, hurt,develop ,build,classical ,attractive,tragedy, value,highlight, emphasize,pay attention to,arouse attention to,seek, serve...as...,come up with, cope with,boast, seize,competitive modern world,be willing/ready to do,in terms of,as for/to,regarding,concerning,apply...to...,adequate/enough/sufficient,efficient,take effective measures, have great effect on, affect,get the access to,available,accessible,lay a solid foundation for, broaden one’s horizon,accumulate/enrich one’s experience/knowledge,especially/normally/gradually,a sense of achievement/fulfillment,excellent, fine,fantastic,extraordinary,outstanding,elite,learned,intellectual,academic,studious,well-informed,well-educated,knowledgeable,look forward to, spare no effort to do,require/demand/call for, pose threat to/challenge, throughout my life,it is necessary/of great importance/essential to do,continuous progress,provide/offer/share, do one’s share/part，good performance，do well in ...

　　二、学会句式升级

　　正如我们的写作要升级，避开主谓宾一样，我们的口语要想有出色的表现，也必须学会用一些较复杂、丰富的句式结构。在这里给大家介绍几种比较好上手的方法：

　　1. 加上非限定性定语从句

　　基本上每一个句子都可以加上非限定性定语从句来补充说明一些信息，如：talk about your hometown?My hometown is famous for its scenic spots, which invite thousands of visitors every year and boost its economy greatly.再如，what do you intend to do after you finish studying?I intend to seek further study ,which is another chance for me to explore more in this field.

　　2. 加上状语

　　1)加上目的状语

　　很多事情都会有目的，所以很多句子都可以加上目的状语从句。如：why do you choose our university?I admire the strong academic atmosphere here and I want to be one of you so that I could get motivated to pursue further advancement in my field.再如：if there were an opportunity of studying abroad ,what would you do?I would like to go abroad to study so as to broaden my horizons,enrich my life experiences and get connected to the outside world.

　　目的状语有很多的连接词，除了上面提到的，我们还可以直接用不定式短语，用in order to，in order that等。

　　2)加上状语从句

　　涉及到逻辑关系的句子，我们要学会使用状语从句。如时间状语从句：When it comes to...可以说是万能时间状语了，when I was young..., when I get ...;原因状语从句：owing to/thanks to/due to,because,as...;条件状语，if you try to...,if you don’t do ...,unless...,if not,I will....,if any,...,if it is right,...;让步状语，though，although，as，even though，even if，while...;现在分词状语，this...,offering/posing lots of chances/challenge for ...

　　3)加上名词性从句

　　What impressed me most is that...;what I learned from this is....;you cannot deny the fact that...;I like the idea that...;I believe/hold/realize that....

　　三、学会停顿和升降调，避开僵尸读法

　　考官问完问题后，不要着急回答，要略作思考，想完一句答一句，以免卡壳，不要怕停顿，停顿是一种智慧，能展示你的冷静和从容。并且句子也必须要有停顿，才能说出一种节奏感。停顿的地方一般就是我们长难句划分的记号：标点，连词，介词，分词，不定式，形容词短语。此外，语句在读的时候要有升降调，一般前面要前半句用声调，后半句用降调。

　　四、应急策略

　　一些问题让你措不及防，甚至没有听懂，你可以这样问考官：Sorry,my distinguished professor,could you please repeat/rephrase your question?I can’t quiet catch you.然后考官问了之后，你可以说，Did you see...(把问题复述一遍)，well,it’s an interesting question but also challenging to me.Let me see...如果实在回答不上来，你也可以说：I am terribly sorry,I lack the relevant information to answer the question.After this interview,I will get back and search on the Internet or other references to explore more about it.
